Job Description
Provide daily care for animals in our care of various species. Clean and disinfect runs, kennels, and equipment. Monitor the health, safety, and wellbeing of the animals under our care while maintaining logs of our guests diet and behavior throughout their stay. Communicate with clients in a respectful manner to ensure they are receiving all services rendered. Provide feedback to clients about their pet’s stay.
Objectives of this Role
Providing competent and compassionate care to our guests, ensuring that they are comfortable and well-cared for. Produce results that align with the company’s vision, mission, and culture. Work on a team to monitor and supervise groups of dogs while maintaining a safe and clean facility. Generating positive pet parent reviews and feedback.
Core Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor dogs in group settings.
- Practice good behaviors with guests in order to achieve a manageable pack.
- Provide excellent service experience to guests and pet parents.
- Maintain laundry cycle
- Communicate effectively with other Pet Technicians and leadership in order to meet the needs of our guests.
- Assess the wellness of our guests.
- Follow all cleaning procedures as scheduled.
- Ensure all scheduled services are completed.
- Ensure all prices are accurate for services rendered.
Must love dogs and show no fear across all breeds and sizes.
Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
Must be able to handle a fast-paced position with a smile on your face!
Must have an excellent work ethic with a willingness to jump in to help the team where needed.
Must be willing to clean, clean, clean.
Must have a positive attitude, be consistently reliable, trustworthy, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Ability to be active, outside, and moving around during your shift.
Ability to understand animal behavior and communication.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Have reliable transportation to and from work.
Be familiar with operating a computer or tablet.
Must be willing to learn and grow!
