Job Description
Briggs Automotive Group is seeking a qualified Parts Advisor. A successful Parts Advisor has outstanding interpersonal skills as well as the discipline and drive to put in the work necessary to be successful. This person will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We are looking for someone who works hard, communicates clearly and is interested in a real career with long term potential.
Pay: $15-$20 hour DOE
Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in identifying and purchasing automotive parts.
2. Utilize product knowledge to accurately identify and locate parts for customers, ensuring the correct fit for their vehicles.
3. Process customer orders and restock shelves.
4. Assist customers with inbound phone inquiries.
5. Answer customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, and compatibility of automotive parts.
6. Collaborate with mechanics and service technicians to ensure accurate fulfillment of orders and address any technical questions.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, new product releases, and advancements in automotive technology to provide informed assistance.
8. Handle customer returns, ensuring compliance with company policies.
9. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the parts counter and surrounding areas.
10. Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
Requirements:
1. Strong customer service and communication skills.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
3. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in part identification and order fulfillment.
4. Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
5. Physical ability to lift and move heavy parts when necessary.
6. Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overtime as needed.
