SRV is a progressive school for preschool through sixth-grade children. We have 162 students in grades preschool through sixth, with less than 25% receiving learning support. The School in Rose Valley is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to serve as our Coordinator of Learning Support. This position is vital in promoting our students' well-being and academic success by providing comprehensive learning support services.

The Coordinator of Learning Support has a community-based approach to student support. This person oversees and coordinates all learning support services and programs for students with special needs, disabilities, or other learning challenges within the school. This includes managing support staff, developing intervention plans, monitoring student progress, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of three years of experience working with children and/or adolescents in special education or learning support services is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and external service providers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines about student support services.
• Facility with various technology platforms and tools and the ability to integrate them with day-to-day work.
