Title: Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Job Summary:
Maintenance Technicians support daily operations, including preventive maintenance, technical problem-solving, assistance with equipment upgrades, and fabrication/repair of production components. They utilize various machining and metal fabricating tools.

Job Duties:
  • Troubleshoot and correct process/equipment concerns.
  • Adjust equipment to maintain product quality.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, check product quality, monitor equipment operation.
  • Assist in Production, New Product, Trials, and Tests.
  • Assemble, modify, install, and connect auxiliary equipment for different line configurations.
  • Utilize electronic test equipment for troubleshooting.
  • Adhere to environmental and safety regulations, including MEI Green Procurement and Chemical Substance Guidelines.
  • Maintain Cognex vision system, read PLC ladder diagrams, transfer electronic files, and troubleshoot industrial equipment.
  • Follow OSHA, Fire Safety, EPA, and Company policies.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to solve mechanical/electrical issues.
  • Solid mechanical, electrical, and technical aptitude.
  • Understanding of electric motors, conveyors, gears, pneumatics, hydraulics; HVAC experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on metal fabrication and welding experience.
  • Use basic maintenance and repair tools and machining equipment.
  • Accurately use precision measurement instruments.
  • Read and understand basic drawings, equipment manuals, and blueprints.
  • Work safely and follow regulations and Company Policies.
