Job Description
Title: Laundry Attendant
Location: SpringHill Suites Cheraw, Cheraw, South Carolina
Employment Type: Full-Time – Salary Other
Salary: $10 to $11 per hour, paid biweekly
Job Summary:
The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing are cleaned and maintained in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to work independently, and have knowledge of laundry operations and equipment.

Responsibilities:
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store all hotel linens and towels according to hotel standards
• Inspect laundry for stains and tears and treat accordingly
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment and report any malfunctions to the supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room
• Keep a record of inventory and notify supervisor when supplies need to be reordered
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with other housekeeping duties when needed
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of laundry operations and equipment
• Ability to work independently and multitask
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
