Food Service Sales Representative - Wheeling, WV market

Curtze Foodservice is seeking to hire a full-time District Food Service Sales Representative. This position will focus on building and maintaining customer accounts in the Wheeling, West Virginia market.

We pay this Food Service Sales Representative a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. After a year or so, this position is 100% commission-based. Commissioned personnel can then earn anywhere from $50,000 - $100,000+ a year. With unlimited earning potential, this is a terrific opportunity for someone who wants to work in the field but manage their schedule.

DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Sales Representatives are responsible for selling our products and services to restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and other institutions. Sales representatives participate in meetings, industry trade shows, and new product presentations. Client relations and sales are built by proactively calling cold and regularly visiting customers. Sales representatives maintain the customers' weekly food orders and follow up on their next-day deliveries. Curtze Foodservice offers consultations for menus, food options, equipment, chemicals, and more. There are limitless possibilities for building strong business relationships with our quality and services.

Responsibilities:

• Client/customer development
• Daily/ weekly processing of customer orders
• Onsite customer visits
  • New menu ideas
  • Assist in resolving issues
  • Encourage client participation in food shows
  • Introduce customers to our product specialists
  • Sampling
• Research industry information and customer needs
• Provide appropriate prices
• Product information
• Follow-up when needed
• Assisting in the credit management of customers
• All other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• A motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Food service experience
• Record of sales achievements
• Experience in general management, food service management, outside sales management, or a related field
• Passion for sales
• A can-do, winning attitude
