Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions (LBHS) provides individual, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, psychiatric services, and medication assisted treatment for mental health and substance abuse treatment needs. Position: Housing Coordinator 

 

Job Summary: Ensures the smooth operation of housing services, supporting individuals in recovery, and collaborating with various departments to promote a supportive and effective recovery environment. This position reports to a Housing Supervisor.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Provide support and guidance to individuals in recovery residing in the housing program. 
  • Monitor resident progress and ensure adherence to program guidelines. 
  • Serve as first point of contact for residents, providing orientation, new bed assignments and presenting accountability and behavioral contracts as needed.   
  • Provide leadership with recommendations for resident managers and assist Resident Managers with weekly house meetings, reviewing attendance and addressing any concerns.  
  • Responsible for compiling weekly phase ups and overnight passes for approval and communicating to residents once changes are approved.   
  • Attending Ohio Recovery Housing training and conferences as scheduled and complete ORH surveys.  
  • Conduct urine screens and medication counts at the request of clinical staff.  
  • Maintain accurate records of housing documents including but not limited to updated leases and shift reports. 
  • Organize and coordinate resident moves between houses/apartments/hotel/dorms. 
  • Complete weekly house inspections and routine safety equipment checks. Maintain general upkeep of homes (furnishings, cleaning supplies, etc.). Communicate issues (pest control, appliances, etc.) with maintenance as needed. 

 

Required Experience/Certifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 2 years of relevant experience programs related to substance abuse recovery or supportive housing 
  • CDCA 
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and car insurance 
  • Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen 

 

Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday 12pm - 8:30pm
