Job Summary:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of the Rod Mill facility.
  • Conduct regular assessments and inspections of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to identify potential maintenance needs or areas for improvement.
  • Utilize analytical skills to troubleshoot electrical failures, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan and execute electrical maintenance, repair, and upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies for electrical systems and components to enhance equipment reliability and extend operational lifetimes.
  • Analyze electrical performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for efficiency improvements and energy savings.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new electrical systems, installations, and modifications, ensuring alignment with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical maintenance activities, modifications, and repairs for regulatory compliance and informed decision-making.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering to propose innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to communicate technical information, provide expertise, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Must Haves:

  • 3 strong years' experience with Siemens
  • 3 years' experience with control automation
  • 3 years experience in PLC programming
