Summer Camps Site Director - Seasonal (Full Time)

Job Summary:

We are looking for Site Directors who help oversee the administrative functions and are responsible for managing the day to day of camps during the summer months. This includes but is not limited to; managing staff, overseeing the implementation of quality activities, ensuring camper safety, supplies management and communicating with parents.

Flexible hours with half day and full day options available.

*will be scheduled weekly and hours range from 25-40 per week depending on availability

*must be available for the full week of camp (Monday-Friday)

This is a seasonal role that will begin in June and run through August. The ideal candidate can work at least 4 weeks.

Positions will be open in: Arlington, Fairfax, Alexandria and Falls Church!

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work on site at summer camp location(s)
• Managing camp programs for elementary school aged children
• Supervising, training, and coaching staff
• Managing camper check ins/outs and camper paperwork
• Inventory of camp supplies
• Daily communication with parents, staff, and Baroody management
• Provide assistance with scheduling and call offs
• Maintain utmost safety of students and staff during your shift

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 21 years or older
• College degree required
• Attention to detail and high level of organization
• Strong listening abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different situations
• Works well under pressure
• Computer skills required
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Paid Training:

• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification, provided.
• Medication Administration Training (MAT), provided.
• On the job training and extensive orientation required.
