Kable Staffing is in urgent need of a Line Operator in Columbus, OH. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Count and package finished products (including quantity)
- Detect quality defects
- Prevent contamination of material
- Housekeeping n work area including equipment peeling and grinding plastic
- Follow instructions of lead person and help other line operators.
- Communicate any maintenance/equipment problems observed
- Follow safety policies
REQUIREMENTS
- 18 years old
- High school education preferred
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- Excellent attendance and work records
- Possess math skills for counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication
- Capability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to read schedules, product information, and technical language
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel,crouch, crawl,and/or stoop on a repetitive basis
- Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to include
- graspingand holding
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary or required
- Pass a background check and drug test
- Need steel-toed boots/shoes
