Pay Range: Hiring/Starting pay range is $19.00 - $21.50/hourly, based on experience.

Position Summary
Repairs, cleans, and maintains The Aspen Maintenance Facility (AMF), or The Glenwood Maintenance Facility (GMF), and other RFTA Facilities as needed.
Essential Job Duties
- Performs a variety of general cleaning including but not limited to cleaning facility restrooms, refilling dispensers and paper products, cleaning office/work spaces, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, removing garbage, washing windows, dusting, cleaning out lounge refrigerators.
- Utilizing the Organizations Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system this person will track time completing all types of daily/weekly/monthly cleaning activities.
- Performs a variety of deep cleaning projects as assigned by the direct supervisor.
- Operates vehicles while in strict compliance with RFTA policies, directives, and procedures and all Federal and Colorado traffic laws and regulations.
- As needed seasonally, shovel snow around the facility.
- Controls, contains and cleans up hazardous materials.
- Incumbent is expected to track daily tasks or specialized projects in the Enterprise Asset Management Software which will be reviewed by Supervisor daily.

- Performs other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Adheres to and actively works toward personal, department, and organizational goals and performance standards.
- Basic computer skills and data entry ability.
- Ability to work harmoniously with others and abide by the RFTA code of conduct.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions found on SDS, product labels, employee safety manuals, and emergency procedures manuals.
- Expert ability to safely operate cleaning/maintenance equipment.
- Expert knowledge of safe material handling and maintenance working practices.
- Solid working knowledge of basic routine maintenance and repair methods.
- Solid ability to physically perform required duties.
- Solid ability to communicate with others, understand and comply with instructions.
Education
- Ability to read and write in English.
- A valid Colorado driver's license is required.
Experience
Experience that provides the ability to effectively demonstrate/perform all basic job functions.
