General Laborer
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Pelham, AL within the construction industry.
General Laborer Job Summary:
- $16/hr
- Monday-Friday 6:45am-finished (typically 10-12 hour days)
- Working 50-60 hours a week; no weekends
- Laborers will load materials, tools, and equipment on the company truck for each job.
- Performing installation duties according to company approved methods
- Actively participates in job completion.
- Ability to work overtime and travel within central Alabama.
- Skill in using tools and equipment preferred.
- Able to follow direction and specific instructions.
- Must pay attention to detail, have the ability to learn and be coachable.
General Laborer Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
- Skilled in operating both large & small equipment and/or power tools
- Must be able to work in a variety of environments (confined spaces, elevated work areas, dirty or wet areas, extreme temperatures, loud/noisy work zones)
- Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, or stand for long periods of time
- Must have steel toe shoes
