Make Ready Technician

Myan Management Group, LLC. in Lawton, OK is actively seeking a full-time Make Ready Technician to keep our apartments in working condition, provide customer service and assist the maintenance supervisor in the operation of the maintenance department. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAKE READY TECHNICIAN

As a property Make Ready Technician, you maintain the property in an attractive, safe, and quality condition. You work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor in the operations of the maintenance department including assisting in maintaining inventories of supplies, tools and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs. You inspect and maintain the property, buildings, and equipment in an attractive, clean, and safe condition at all times in accordance with company policies and procedures. You assist in organizing, prioritizing, and completing unit make-readies, service requests and general maintenance tasks according to company standards in a timely manner. Your maintenance responsibilities include replacing electrical switches, fixtures, and motors, repairing, or replacing plumbing and fixtures, replacing broken windowpanes and screens, replacing and rekeying locks, repairing and replacing appliance parts, repair of walls, woodwork and doors, painting, groundskeeping, and trash removal. Safety is your priority. As such you report safety hazards to the maintenance supervisor and assist in correcting them on a timely basis. You take pride in the great condition and attractive appearance of the grounds, buildings, and units.

MAKE READY TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year maintenance experience in property management or related field
• Ability to be available "on-call" 24 hours, seven days per week
• Valid driver's license
• Drug-free

WORK SCHEDULE

This make ready technician position typically works 40 hours or more per week. You are "on-call" for emergencies seven days per week, 24 hours per day.
