QUALIFICATIONS:

1+ year recent sit down forklift experience

1+ year recent manufacturing experience

Some inventory experience

must be able to lift 40 lbs

can work in a dirty environment

Description:

This company does rollforming, stamping, weld assemblies for structural parts. This position will be on their second shift on their materials team; assisting with shipping and receiving or stocking the line -

•Oversee, coordinate, and control the handling, storage and flow of materials (finished/unfinished goods) to and from the warehouse, ensuring adequate level of inventories for manufacturing and on time delivery of finished goods to customers

•Daily operates a forklift truck to load/unload deliveries from various plants/suppliers ensuring proper storage and inspecting for any damaged goods

•Maintains accurate inventory by inputting all incoming and outgoing freight into the computer database, which serves as a tracking tool for inventory control

•Pulls orders accurately to prepare for prompt shipments, prepares necessary paperwork, verifies and enters receipt of incoming shipments

•Within the limits of responsibility reviews MRP for raw materials, delivery requirements and tracks to ensure on time delivery

•Properly label materials to facilitate identification of items upon retrieval

•Completes and performs other duties/tasks as may be assigned

•May periodically clean warehouse as needed
