About this job

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's team. As an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payment processing. This position offers a flexible work schedule and the possibility of being hired permanently based on performance. 



This is a part-time position, requiring 25-28 hours per week.

 
Roles and Responsibilities: 
  • Make outbound calls to clients to assist with supply orders and address any billing inquiries 
  • Update and maintain spreadsheets and financial records accurately 
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions promptly and accurately 
  • Reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner 
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations 
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed 

Qualifications & Skills: 
  •  Previous experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles 
  •  Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records 
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  •  Proficient in using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and financial software 
  •  Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively 
  •  Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
