Position Overview: We are a start-up seeking motivated and detail-oriented interns to assist with outreach to healthcare companies and staffing agencies. The primary focus of this role will be to gather information on compliance rules and credentialing requirements for employees within the healthcare sector. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Outreach and Communication:
  • Conduct outreach to healthcare companies and staffing agencies via email, phone calls, and other communication channels.
  • Clearly and professionally communicate the purpose of the research project and request information on compliance rules and credentialing requirements.
  1. Research and Data Collection:
  • Utilize various resources to gather comprehensive information on compliance regulations and credentialing standards within the healthcare industry.
  • Document gathered data accurately and maintain organized records for future reference and analysis.
  1. Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze collected data to identify common trends, differences, and key insights regarding compliance rules and credentialing requirements among different companies.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing the findings, including recommendations for potential areas of improvement or standardization.
  1. Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment of research efforts and sharing of valuable insights.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders within the organization to validate findings and support decision-making processes.
  1. Continuous Learning and Development:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to compliance and credentialing in the healthcare sector.
  • Actively seek feedback and incorporate learnings to enhance performance and contribute effectively to the project.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a relevant academic program (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration) or recent graduate.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with online research tools and databases.
  • Interest in healthcare administration, compliance, and regulatory affairs is preferred.

Duration and Compensation:
