Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Banning area. As an SLPA, you will work with elementary school students, assisting in the implementation of speech and language therapy programs under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in individual or small group settings as directed by the supervising speech-language pathologist.
• Assist in the implementation of therapy plans and techniques designed to improve communication skills.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records as required.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language goals.
• Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and individualized education plan (IEP) meetings as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license issued by the state of California.
• Experience working with children in educational or therapeutic settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
