Radiologist Technologist (13-Week Contract with Extensions)

Shift:

• 8 hour shifts
• no on call
• Mostly daylight coverage, with occasional afternoon shift.
• Every other weekend coverage.
• These requirements are non-negotable

Summary:

• Under the direction of the Radiologist, performs routine and special radiographic procedures following prescribed protocols and procedures. Uses ionizing radiation producing equipment to perform radiographic studies. Demonstrates competence in the assessment, range of treatment, and knowledge of growth and development, appropriate to the age and disability of the patient treated. Utilizes computers to process radiographic images and access HIS/RIS systems. Uses computers to process radiographic studies and patient billing information. Permitted to change patient from portable O2 to wall O2.

Certification/Licensure:

• ARRT cert. & BLS
• Minimum 1 year of Radiology tech OR clinical rotation experience
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program

Pay:

$48-$58/hr
