Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a dynamic company. As the Accounting Assistant you will provide daily support to the accounting and finance departments with bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant include collecting payments, invoicing customers, drafting financial documents, and reconciling bank records. - Communicate with clients via phone and email as necessary
- Analyze financial budgets and track expenses
- Assist Accounting team with creating and editing financial documents
- Reconcile financial books by working with incoming and outgoing funds
- Own daily accounting duties such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account
- Help with administrative duties as they present themselves
- Design the bookkeeping processes of the company- Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet and reporting applications
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and time management
- Bookkeeping experience desired
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
- High attention to detail as well as problem-solving and critical thinking skills are a must
