Job DescriptionCompany Description
Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Providence, RI
Schedule: M-F 7 am to 3:30 pm
Job Description:
- Escort and prepare patients for examinations.
- Obtain vital signs and medical history.
- Family Practice/Internal Medicine experience preferred.
- Perform standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, Phlebotomy, Venipuncture, PFT, Doppler, Injections and Patient Charting
- EMR experience required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 2-5 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be proficient in the use of an electronic medical record; experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus.
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
- Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
