Responsibilities:

• Examine blueprints, and specifications to define the extent of work and material + labor needs
• Calculate cost and generate precise estimates for bidding, vendor and subcontractor selection
• Solicit price quotations from vendors and subcontractors
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and stakeholders
• Coordinate with internal teams
• Create proposals with minimal need for revisions

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and documents
• Clear and effective proposal writing and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with estimating programs such as PlanSwift or Bluebeam
• Strong mathematical skills for calculations and conversions
