Job Description
PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known manufacturer of Caterpillar Products in Allentown, PA.
We are now hiring CNC Operators who are team players, versatile, and dependable!
Hours: 2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $20-22/hr
CNC Operators Job Summary
Load, unload and measure part features.
As a Level 2 Operator you will be expected to notice when the operation run time and quality of the product meets production targets and customer specification.
Expected to manufacture and rework parts on manual lathes and mills.
Clean, minor repair and perform preventive maintenance on CNC machinery.
Read work instructions, record dimensions on forms and possess basic math skills.
Inspect completed work for conformance to specification using tools such as calipers, height gauges, micrometers, bore gages and rulers etc.
CNC Operators Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience with operation of 3 and 4 axis CNC Machines, tool setup, and inspection in a production environment
Minimum 2 years’ experience running manual mills and lathes
Experience with Microsoft excel, word, and outlook
Able to read blueprints, work instructions, record dimensions on forms and possess basic math skills
Have a thorough understanding of MSDS
Inspect completed work for conformance to specification using tools such as calipers, height gauges, micrometers, bore gages and rulers etc.
