We are looking for an Auto Glass Repair Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicle windshields.

As an Auto Glass Repair Technician, your responsibilities include repairing windshield rock chips with specialized tools and methods. You will guarantee customer safety and satisfaction through superior repair quality and outstanding service. The position demands meticulous attention to detail, skilled hand coordination, and proficiency in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Rock Chip Repairs: Utilize industry-standard tools and materials to repair windshield rock chips efficiently and effectively. 

  • Inspect Windshields: Assess the extent of damage to windshields and determine the appropriate repair method based on established guidelines and best practices. 

  • Prepare Work Area: Set up workstations with necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and organized workspace conducive to efficient repairs. 

  • Provide Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns and providing clear explanations of the repair process and expected outcomes. 

  • Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain repair equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety standards compliance. 

  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow safety procedures and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries during the repair process. 

  • Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.

  • Document Repairs: Accurately record details of repairs performed, including the extent of damage, repair methods used, and any additional recommendations provided to customers. 

  • Collaborate with Team: Coordinate with other technicians and support staff to prioritize tasks, streamline workflow, and deliver timely services to customers. 

  • Stay Informed: Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to windshield repair techniques and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Previous experience in auto glass repair or related field preferred but not required. 

  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills. 

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality. 

  • Basic computer skills for documentation.
