Position Overview

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect truck for defects and safe operating condition before, during and after trips and submit a written report on the condition of the truck at the end of each trip.

2. Drive truck to and from designated destinations.

3. Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather. Must be able to operate vehicle in all types of weather and conditions, this includes going forward and backing up long distances, around corners and in and around very tight areas.

4. Load and deliver merchandise and equipment to and from assigned restaurant.

5. Report all accidents and incidents involving drivers or company equipment.

6. Report Highway safety hazards noted in route.

7. Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions or other emergencies.

8. Drivers may be subject to irregular work schedules, temperature, weather and outside environment extremes, tight delivery schedules, delays in route and other stresses and fatigues related to diving a motor vehicle on crowded streets and highways in all kind of weather.

9. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and comply with all federal, state and local regulations for the safe operations of a commercial motor vehicle.

10. Check with manager every day and throughout your shift for ANY additional duties needed for your

shift. “These duties could change on any day”.

General and Safety:

1. Use safety belt and safety shoes at all times.

2. Use hand truck to move or lift anything over 15 lbs.

3. Must perform physical activities in a variety of environmental conditions that require moderate strength including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking and handling of materials. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

4. The position requires lifting of 25 lbs. anything over 25 lbs. assistance will be given to you.

5. Use Safety gloves every time you use a knife.

6. Sound knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, and the discipline to uphold those standards.

7. Watch for wet floors and spillage, put signs and dry immediately.

8. CLEAN AS YOU GO! Watch for food, debris and objects on the floor.

9. The position requires the employee to be able to communicate in English, to be friendly and courteous.

Physical Requirements:

1. The ability to lift 25/pounds regularly & un-assisted

2. The ability to respond quickly to sounds

3. The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces

4. The ability to safely climb ladders

5. The ability to work in cold temperatures

6. The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day

7. The ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, stooping, balancing, reaching, pushing

Pay Range: (Pay ranges applicable to CA locations only)

• $21.00 Minimum- $21.00 Maximum
