Silver Tree Residential is looking for dependable, quality focused, maintenance professionals to join our progressively growing team. We are seeking Technician level candidates for a SENIOR apartment complex in Columbus, OH. We are looking for a reliable team member who is willing to uphold our community to the highest standards.

Summary of Requirements:

• Working with upper management & directors in managing all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property.
• Advising the Community Director of maintenance problems and of programs designed to solve them.
• Inspecting, scheduling, and performing routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as necessary or as directed by the Directors.
• Capable of dealing effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors, and co-workers.
• Satisfying work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances, stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators. Some familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry is required.
• Assist in the make ready process of vacant apartments to get them ready for new move-ins in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
• Establishing daily work schedules for his/her staff (if any) and monitoring their production, efficiency and the materials used.
• Knowing current condition of all vacancies.
• Participating in the hiring of maintenance personnel.
• Holding classes for the maintenance staff (if any), as needed, to improve their efficiency.
• Keeping accurate and up-to-date inventory of tools and supplies.
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, secure workshop.
• Prior property maintenance experience is preferred.
• A valid Driver's License and dependable transportation is required.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience. It is essential that the Maintenance staff report to work at his/her regularly scheduled work hours, and have the physical capability to walk all around the property (including stairs), lift heavy items, and otherwise perform a variety of physical tasks regularly and as needed.
