Job Summary
As an Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of private events hosted at our venue. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the booking process and seamlessly execute events to ensure a memorable experience for our clients and their guests. From initial client consultations to the flawless execution of events, you will be the key point of contact for private event coordination.

Responsibilities
Booking and Coordination: Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements, provide information on available packages, and secure bookings. Coordinate details such as date, time, menu selections, and special requests.

Event Planning: Work closely with clients and internal teams to plan and organize events according to client preferences. Ensure that all logistical details are meticulously addressed, including room setup, catering, audio-visual requirements, and other special arrangements.

Client Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients throughout the planning process. Address any concerns, provide updates, and ensure a smooth and transparent experience for clients.

On-Site Event Execution: Oversee the seamless execution of events on the day of, ensuring that all details are executed according to plan. Address any issues or last-minute changes to guarantee a successful event.

Staff Coordination: Manage banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff. Provide guidance on event-specific requirements, conduct training sessions, and ensure a high level of service.

Quality Assurance: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from clients and identify areas for improvement. Implement changes to enhance the overall event experience.

Qualifications
  • Ideally, 1+ years of experience as an event manager or similar role
  • Ideally, 3+ years of experience in customer service experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Great organizational skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
