Job Description

Information about the Role, Line of Business and Team:

Serve as the main point of contact for any TII Operations data requests for ad-hoc queries, changes to reporting dashboards, new management reports, and changes to management reports. The Data Analyst, Operations will execute analytical tasks on data sets to support decision makers and provide actionable insights and reports. The operations data analyst role will use data to help us better understand our Customer Care, Claims, and Quality Assurance data by identifying interesting and useful trends in our data. You will make an impact by using your passion for data and analysis to generate actionable insights that we will use to improve our operational efficiency. The Data Analyst, Operations supports and enhances ongoing business processes and has the responsibility to continuously improve the data quality and integrity.

What you will do:

    Act as a subject matter expert for Operations reporting and analysis, work closely with TII Operations units of Customer Care, Claims, and Quality Assurance
  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Architect, manage, and provide data-driven reports
  • Compiling ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
  • Identifies and documents opportunities for change and provides recommendations
  • Work closely with operations management team to determine upfront reporting needs of each project
  • Collect requirements, determine technical issues, and design reports to meet data analysis needs
  • Developing and maintaining web-based dashboards for real-time reporting of key performance indicators for Operations. Dashboards must be simple to use, easy to understand, and accurate.
  • Maintenance of current managerial reports and development of new reports
  • Develop and maintain reporting playbook and change log
  • Other duties in the PUA department as assigned

  • Able to identify cause and effect relationships in data and work process flows

Requirements:

  • 3 years in an Analyst role is required
  • A Bachelor's degree in associated field of study; data science, computer science, mathematics, economics, statistics, etc. is required
  • Experience using SQL is required
  • Experience with common data science toolkits is required
  • Prior experience creating operations analysis

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $68,000 to a maximum of $113,300. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
