About this job

This position is responsible for the strategic oversight of sales productivity measurement and performance management for the US Branch Network. This role will lead the design and implementation of measurement frameworks to analyze and track branch and banker productivity to optimize the performance of the branch network. In addition, the role will lead the performance metrics strategy for the branch network including the annual process to define key performance metrics and scorecards for all job families and the ongoing monitoring of sales performance trends.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy to measure and optimize branch productivity in alignment with Citis Investor Day commitments. Partner with analytics and reporting to develop measurement frameworks to track productivity and the financial contribution of the branch network.
  • Leverage insights to develop recommendations to improve branch network productivity and optimize branch and banker capacity. Partner with sales leadership and Branch Network Experience to implement strategies and recommendations.
  • Develop measurement strategies to track individual branch and banker productivity levels in comparison to internal and external benchmarks; leverage measurement framework and insights to partner with sales leadership to improve performance for targeted branches and bankers.
  • Manage annual process to define performance metrics and scorecards for all job families in the branch network. Partner across business segments to develop performance metrics that align with key business priorities and promote strong collaboration and partnership.
  • Provide thought leadership in the development of performance metrics and scorecards, ensuring alignment to business priorities, while optimizing sales productivity and delivering client centric solutions.
  • Partner with analytics and sales leadership to define and enhance client assignment strategy for branch and banker proactive engagement (i.e., Book of Business). Coordinate with all stakeholders to gain buy in on approach and ensure alignment with execution priorities.
  • Develop, coordinate and present leadership presentations on branch network productivity and sales performance trends.
  • Partner with finance and analytics to support annual planning processes and ongoing insights on drivers of sales performance trends versus plan. Develop recommendations to improve branch performance and influence partners to execute ideas.
  • Significant project management expertise required to manage, execute, and communicate annual performance management and scorecard planning process.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to solicit feedback and present recommendations around performance metrics and scorecards.
  • Accountable for analyzing complex business problems and developing new concepts to solve issues affecting the branch network based on in-depth quantitative analysis.
  • Present and negotiate complex issues to all levels of the organization including senior leadership; to include gaining consensus across business leaders and key stakeholders on difficult decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business or finance related field; Masters preferred
  • 10+ years related experience in Financial Services, Finance or Analytics
  • Ability to partner, present and negotiate with various levels within the organization, from senior executives to sales leadership and senior/mid-level managers.
  • Ability to influence and take ownership in a matrix organization.
  • Comfortable in ambiguous situations, self-starter, and self-learner.
  • Multi-tasking skills with ability to manage complex projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to build presentations that convey a clear story supported by data findings.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to interact with senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to present relevant competitive information to senior management, business channels and cross-functional partners in a manner that enables proactive management action.
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$134,960.00 - $202,440.00
