DIRECTOR OF FINANCE ROLE

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE:
- Supervise accounting team
- Prepare annual budgets
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Manage payroll functions
- Oversee financial reporting to funding agencies, ensuring compliance with grant and program budgets
- Journal Entries
- Assist with audits
- Assist HR with benefits administration
- Maintain banking relationships and insurance policies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 3+ years managing a team
- Nonprofit industry experience
