Forklift Driver (Sit-down) - Weekly Pay

*3-6 months of sit-down forklift experience required*

Gojob is hiring a Sit-down Forklift Driver in Louisville, KY for a logistics company. You will be responsible for operating powered industrial trucks primarily driving backward to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities. Shifts & Pay:

• 1st shift: 5am - 3:30pm = $18.00
• 2nd shift 3:30pm - 2am = $20.00
• 3rd shift 9pm - 7:30am = $19.50
• Weekend Shift : Friday, Sat, Sun 5am - 3:30pm and Monday 1pm - 11:30pm = $20.50

Responsibilities:

• Using forklift to load and unload goods, place goods around the storage facility, and transports product to and from designated areas
• Checking loads are secure and stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards

Requirements:

• 3-6 months of sit-down forklift experience
• Good math, language and reading skills
• Able to read and follow written and oral work instructions related to operating and maintaining equipment
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
• Ability to execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Steel toed shoes required
