Interim Cost Accountant

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a skilled Cost Accountant for a 3+ month contract role at our client in the Ogden area. This individual will manage various accounting functions including financial reporting, cost accounting, data analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage financial and cost accounting processes.

- Reconcile raw materials, work in progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory.

- Analyze company’s operational costs and set standard costs for manufactured goods.

- Perform inventory account reconciliations.

- Support audit process by providing relevant cost information.

- Prepare and analyze inventory and manufacturing cost variances

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting

- Experience in manufacturing cost accounting

- Strong Excel skills, along with Word, and PowerPoint
