In this vital role you will communicate complex cutting edge scientific information and research concepts to healthcare decision makers including but not limited to those at Academic Medical Centers. The role may also include providing clinical and economic value information to payers, formulary decision makers, and Investigators participating in Amgen company sponsored clinical trials. The Senior MSL is also responsible for identifying and training members of Amgen’s speaker’s bureau to ensure they are updated on new data. In addition, the Sr MSL will provide feedback based on field interactions and scientific support consistent with Amgen research and product support/Specific Role and Duties.The Sr. Medical Liaison will interact with healthcare thought leaders to communicate and advance the scientific platform as aligned with Amgen’s corporate goals and objectives. The territory includes: Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Iowa (must live within territory).Communicate complex, cutting-edge scientific information and research concepts to healthcare decision makers including, but not limited to those at Academic Medical Centers.Provide clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary decision makers.Identify and train members of Amgen’s speaker’s bureau and ensure they are updated on new data.Facilitate submission of investigator sponsored research proposals- Support Amgen sponsored research.Provide feedback based on field interactions with healthcare thought leaders - Provide scientific support consistent with the MSL compliance standards for sales corporate account and other matrix colleagues facilitated HCP inquiries - Foster scientific relationships between Amgen and fellows in training.Lead and/or participate on committees or project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics as delegated by MSL leadership.Seek out opportunities to support the MSL value proposition and achieve results and set an example for others to follow by consistently demonstrating Amgen Values and Leadership Attributes.Demonstrate tact and organizational savvy when communicating and interacting with others.The Sr. Medical Science Liaison will model openness and innovation through words actions and decisions. The dynamic professional we seek is a partner with these qualifications.Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree & 2 years of Medical Affairs experience​ OR​Master’s degree & 6 years of Medical Affairs experience OR​Bachelor’s degree & 8 years of Medical Affairs experience​Preferred Qualifications:Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O.
