Construction Estimator

We are seeking a highly qualified applicant to join our growing team! DFB is hiring for a Full-Time Estimator. This position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of our bidding process. The ideal candidate will have to be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and efficiently. It is highly preferred for applicants to know how to accurately read and understand construction plan sets and able to interpret and analyze plan details. Responsibilities: - Review architectural drawings and perform a take-off of the required products - Price the project accordingly - Obtain and review quotes by other subcontractors or vendors - Create and submit proposals to appropriate people - Communicating with the clients regarding questions, pricing, and details - Able to negotiate and sells projects to the client - Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and clients Requirements: - Excellent organizational skills - Thoroughness and reliability - Proficient with Windows, Outlook, Excel - Ability to multi-task - Able to communicate professionally with clients
