Summary:

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), under the supervision of nursing staff, will assist in meeting the needs of behavioral health patients. The BHT will maintain constant direct observation and visualization of identified patient(s). Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Required Education: 

High school diploma or equivalent Required.

Required Certification: 

CNA certification is desired.

BLS is required within 30 days of hire.

Handle With Care within 6 months of hire

 Minimum Work Experience:
Previous mental health experience, preferred
