Description

The Transition Operations Specialists supports the Transition Manager in executing the process of onboarding wealth managers (individuals and teams).  The individual manages the detailed end to end transition of the new colleagues and their books of business, operating with both speed and attention to detail.  The operations specialist understands the overall process, as well as the individual steps, and can problem solve to address unique needs of a particular team.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Collaborate with Transition Manager to define plan to onboard experienced Wealth Manager teams
  • Coordinates with key stakeholders on status of all prospects / candidates
  • Contact candidates to collect documentation 
  • Provides advice and best practices to ensure a repeatable transition process 
  • Works to organize technology, systems, and tools prior to day one onboarding
  • Act as a resource on firm policies and procedures
  • Shepherds the end to end onboarding process for newly hired wealth managers and their clients

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Series 7 and 66 Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of Financial Industry experience
  • Knowledge of federal (FINRA) and state (Insurance) requirements preferred
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Strong communication and presentation experience
  • Excellent client service skills

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
