Job Description
Contract Certified School Nurse for the 2024-2025 School Year
At ProCare, our mission is to encourage each child to confidently and proudly achieve his or her full potential. We are working with a school district located in Oxnard, CA that is looking to hire certified school nurse (CSN)for the2024-2025school year with the opportunity to renew for the following school year.
The selected candidate will be hired on as a parttime contracted employee through ProCare Therapy. A contract will be awarded for you to complete. While undergoing your assignment, you will be provided with: competitive compensation, great support and weekly paychecks.
Job Type: Contract Certified School Nurse
- Full Time: 37.5hours/week
- August2024- June2025
- TK-5th grade caseload
- Certified School Nurse Certificate or willing to apply for Emergency Certification
- RNwill be based in school's health clinic
- Responsibilities will include: following health care plans, diabetic care, asthma care, medication administration, first aid, triage, etc.
- More details of caseload and responsibilities will be discussed on an interview with the Director of Pupil Services
Requirements:
- Must have Certified School Nurse Certificate (CSN) or willing to apply for preliminary certification
- Active RNlicensein California
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
- Previous school nursing or pediatric experience is preferred
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
