Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School-Based Special Education Teacher to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with students with diverse learning needs, providing them with the support and guidance necessary to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Requirements:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.
• Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent munication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in various academic subjects
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
