We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. As an SLPA, you will work closely with our licensed speech-language pathologists to implement therapy plans and assist clients in improving their communication skills. Job Description:

• Darien, Georgia
• Full Time
• ASAP - End of School Year (High chance of renewal)

Responsibilities:

• Assist speech-language pathologists in conducting assessments to evaluate clients' communication abilities.
• Implement therapy plans developed by licensed speech-language pathologists, including individual and group sessions.
• Provide direct support to clients during therapy sessions, guiding them through exercises and activities designed to improve speech, language, and cognitive skills.
• Document client progress and communicate observations to the supervising speech-language pathologist.
• Collaborate with other members of the therapy team, including teachers, parents, and caregivers, to support clients' overall development and progress.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field.
• Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from an accredited program.
• Previous experience working with individuals with speech and language disorders preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
