Visiting Angels is looking for a Home Care Aide to join our team! You will be directly working with this lovely couple following a one-on-one care plan in home care.
You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care, but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities
- At least one year prior experience
- Driver’s license, reliable & safe transportation, good MVR
- At least 2 professional references
- Willingness to submit to a criminal background check
Current Positions Available
- Southwick, 4 hours a day, M-F. Lovely couple, He's a Veteran and they both have dementia, needs assistance with shower, dressing, & hygiene
- Agawam, 10am-12noon & 5-7pm 5 times a week, Gentleman Client with alzheimers & depression, hearing impaired, personal care, etc.....
