Spring Education Group is excited to offer a unique career development opportunity through our Operations Leadership Associate program. This 18-month rotational experience, hosted at our Campbell headquarters, is specifically designed for individuals looking to pivot into the educational sector, offering a bridge for those with diverse professional backgrounds to gain comprehensive experience in school operations.
The program is an immersive journey, not just a job. It's crafted to provide participants with hands-on experience and insight into the operational complexities of leading educational institutions. Through a series of rotations across various leadership functions across Spring schools and shared services, participants will build a robust understanding of Spring Education Group and its school operations in preparation for leading divisional or enterprise level initiatives and operations.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about leveraging their unique business experience and expertise to contribute to and transform Preschool through 12th grade education in the U.S. Whether you come from finance, technology, non-profit management, or any other field, this program offers a gateway to a meaningful career in education. Prior experience in education is not required; what is essential is your drive, your track record of exceptional performance, and your desire to positively impact Preschool through 12th grade education.
This program is a cornerstone for professional growth, offering participants the opportunity to engage deeply with C-level executives on business-critical initiatives to fulfill our mission of expanding educational excellence across America. Upon completion, graduates of the program will step into key leadership positions within Spring school operations, ready to leave a lasting impact on our mission and forge new pathways in the educational journey of future generations.

Program Outline:
- In-depth Operational Rotations: Engage directly in the operations of Stratford, BASIS, and Merryhill schools across Silicon Valley with 1-2 month rotations. Additionally, immerse yourself for a month at Laurel Springs School, broadening your perspective on online education methodologies.
- Extensive Shared Services Immersion: Over 1-2 months, delve into the workings of our shared services team, encompassing finance, data & analytics, talent acquisition, talent management and growth. This experience is pivotal in understanding the backbone of support that reinforces the operational success of our schools.
- Focused Expertise Sessions: Participate in targeted sessions with our esteemed real estate and academic teams. These engagements are meticulously planned to furnish you with insights into the strategic nuances of facility planning and the essence of cutting-edge curriculum development.
- Accelerated Professional Development: Embark on 1-2 ambitious research projects, offering the invaluable opportunity to present your findings to our executive team. Moreover, the program features monthly lunches with Spring executives, designed to facilitate direct mentorship, discussing your career trajectory, insights, and absorbing wisdom from those at the helm of educational innovation.
- Engagement with Senior Executive Team Members: Collaborate with the senior executive team on key initiatives to identify opportunities to enhance, refine, and develop school operations as well as identifying and structuring new business opportunities for SEG.
Education Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree: Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree from a top university, showcasing a strong academic background and the capacity for critical thinking and innovation; an advanced degree is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- Qualified applicants will have experience and a high level of competence with a variety of business functions (i.e. project management, market analysis, financial analysis and forecasting, operations management, people leadership, etc.)
- Preferred experience includes business consulting, investment banking or portfolio management, product management, enterprise level or multi-site operations management
- Applicants must have a demonstrated and measurable track record of success in elevating business outcomes
