Job Description:
Our client is currently searching for Revit Mechanical Designer to work alongside staff Engineers and other Designers in the design and production of construction drawings for various water, wastewater and pump station projects.
This Revit Designer will, under the direction of the Sr. Principal Designer and Engineering Staff, work on Projects for various Treatment Plant, Stormwater, Sewer, and Pipeline Designs in the Water and Wastewater industry, primarily focused on developing piping drawings.
Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare pipeline designs, site plans, sections, and details for water, wastewater and stormwater facilities.
  • Participates with the other disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, HVAC, electrical, I&C)
  • Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards and styles.

Qualifications:
  • Must have 5+ years Revit experience, including experience managing/coordinating projects.
  • Must have mechanical, pipe, electrical, structural, or architecture Revit modeling experience.
  • Must have experience with the concept of putting together a complete set of drawings.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D, ACC Docs, BIM 360 preferred.
  • Completion of technical school with CAD design certificate or associate's degree is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Water and/or Wastewater design projects (equipment, piping, valves, accessories, and supports) is a plus.
  • Experience maintaining the quality and consistency of CAD (i.e., designs, as-builts, symbology, connectivity, and annotation).
  • Must have the ability to budget time and work efficiently, to achieve project goals, both independently and as part of project teams.
  • Must be able to work on multiple, unique assignments, simultaneously, requiring strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have clear and concise oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with others in the preparation of design documents, participation in team meetings, and field interaction with clients and subcontractors.
  • Must be capable of working effectively in team situations while establishing and maintaining strong relationships with other teams where overlap of client project work exists.
