Gregg Young Automotive Group is searching for individuals who enjoy & take great pride performing quality repairs & who appreciate a cohesive work environment that provides a healthy work / life balance to become a member on our Fixed Operations TEAM as a Body Shop Technician at our Chevrolet dealership in Columbus, Ne.

Body Shop Technician Responsibilities:

• Review damage reports, inspect vehicles for structural damage, remove damaged body parts

• Replace damaged body parts & realign car frames / chassis

• Fit, attach, & weld replacement parts into place

  • Carry out a range of various repairs:
    • Metal finishing, panel replacement of all types & sizes, and complete rebuilds / paint jobs
    • Inspection and location of hidden damages, identify areas of needed repairs
      • Professionally trained managers & estimators compliment the roles of the body technician
      • Empowered to work both independently and collectively
      • Clean & safe work environment, climate controlled repair facility
      • Responsibilities of the job align with the income earned
      • Operate independently as rapidly as possible to repair / service the concern & get to the next job with the support of the body manager and service dept.
    • Provided any & all resources to execute the job responsibilities

Employment Package:

  • Direct Repair Partner with selected insurance companies
  • Unlimited earning potential, high capacity shop, constant customer & insurance pay repairs
  • Competitive compensation plans: up to $28/hour- contingent upon experience
    • projected annual gross income range: $60,000 - $90,000
    • (up to $5k available signing bonus - qualifiers required)
  • Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off
  • 45 hour work week / Monday - Friday
