Our client, a well-established and growing CPA firm, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Staff Accountant. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities- Perform detailed assurance work
- Prepare Tax returns
- Gain Proficiency with firm software and research tools
- Develop workpaper documentation skills
- Frequent interaction with clients
- Mentor new staff and interns
- Increase knowledge of client industries and practice service areas
- Budget awareness and realization
- Community involvement and volunteering
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters - PLUS
- 2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant in a CPA firm
- Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Teamplayer
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPA certification or 150 credits

- Salary: $55K/yr - $67K/yr, negotiable. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
