The Bulk Truck Driver Propane is responsible for safe and efficient transportation of products. The Transport Driver is an essential member of our organization as he/she is accountable for the handling of products, safe delivery of product, and meeting customer needs. The dependable and safety-conscious individual will be responsible for properly driving his/her truck and ensuring everybody’s safety.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Drive and operate trucks.
• Follow delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch.
• Utilize electronic logs and dispatch software.
• Pre-inspect trucks.
• Load and unload the tank and handle hazardous liquids.
• Verify loads for accuracy.
• Transport the product safely to the delivery site.
• Properly complete required paperwork.
• Adhere to safety regulations.
• Communicate with customer upon delivery site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL – Class B
• 21 years or older.
• HAZMAT endorsement required. Northdale Oil will assist in getting the endorsements for otherwise qualified applicants.
• Specific skills:
  • Traffic laws/DOT regulations/driving knowledge
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds.
  • Ability to pass random drug tests.
  • Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years.
  • Listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Dependability.
