American Workforce Grouphas partnered with a metal distribution company here in the Longview area, who is looking for someone to do vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe packaging of finished materials and their preparation for shipping.
If you are a motivated, qualified individual, we want you!!
Description of FORKLIFT OPERATOR:
-Use of machinery to safely and efficiently package finished materials according to specific instructions and quality standards.
-Collaborate closely with Machine Operators to coordinate the packaging process seamlessly.
-Inspect materials for quality, including checking for defects, proper dimensions, and surface finish.
-Use a forklift to transport materials to and from workstations and designated storage areas.
Details of FORKLIFT OPERATOR:
- $19
- Swing
- Temp to hire
- Full Time
Requirements and Qualifications of FORKLIFT OPERATOR:
-Minimum 2 years of experience operating a forklift in an industrial manufacturing
-Previous experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment is a plus.
Physical Requirements of FORKLIFT OPERATOR:
-Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to 50 lbs. in weight
-Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of time
-Ability to perform manual labor for up to 12 or more hours per day
