Job Title: Reservationist at Ocean Place Resort & Spa
Position: Full Time – Hourly Customer Service, Individual Contributor
Location: Long Branch, New Jersey
Job Summary:
The Reservationist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests and callers of the Ocean Place Resort & Spa. In this role, the Reservationist will handle all incoming reservations, inquiries, and cancellations, and ensure all guest needs are met to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong knowledge of the resort’s facilities, services, and policies.

Responsibilities:
• Receive and process all incoming reservations, inquiries, and cancellations in a timely and professional manner
• Answer all incoming calls and provide accurate and detailed information about the resort, including rates, availability, facilities, and amenities
• Ensure all reservation and guest information is accurately entered into the property management system
• Promote and upsell resort services and packages to enhance guests’ experiences
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guests’ requests and resolve any issues or complaints
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the resort’s room types, rates, packages, and promotions
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist with group reservations and room blocks as needed
• Maintain clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety and security procedures
• Attend all required training and meetings
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality or call center setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of property management systems (PMS)
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
