Job Title: Collections Specialist

Location: Columbus OH (100% onsite)

Pay Rate: $25/hr on W2

What’s the Job?
The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing the collection of outstanding accounts receivables from clients and customers in a timely manner. This position will also assist with resolving customer billing issues and reducing the amount of accounts receivables. 

  • Review assigned collection work list on a daily basis to follow up on late payments and update Credit Management System.
  • Initiate contact with customers via email or outbound collection calls in a professional manner, while keeping and improving customer relations.
  • Work with the Sales Team, Corporate Billing Department and the Learning Center to resolves customer billing issues to reduce accounts receivable delinquency in a timely manner.
  • Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss with management.
  • Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports.
  • Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements, legal issues, and any other pertinent information to management.

What’s Needed?

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Two (2+) years of related experience Accounts receivable/collections experience strongly preferred. 
  • SAP/Salesforce or similar software preferred.
  • General knowledge of the following software:  MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access and MS Outlook. 
  • Highly organized, comfortable working in fast paced environments.
