Position Summary:

As an Inside Sales Representative at our Memphis, TN location, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating inside sales functions. Your responsibilities will include maintaining active proposal and quote logs, responding to customer inquiries, and creating and implementing sales programs to drive growth. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, learn about our products, and prepare for a future outside sales role.

In addition, the city is located near the Mississippi River and is surrounded by beautiful parks and natural areas. Employees can easily access outdoor activities, such as hiking, boating, and fishing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep current records and organized documentation of proposals and quotes.
• Execute quote and proposal requests as instructed by sales or management personnel.
• Devise and execute advertising campaigns, mailers, and promotional initiatives aimed at enhancing sales.
• Address phone inquiries and assist walk-in customers with inquiries about products.
• Prepare invoices for equipment and coordinate external purchase orders.
• Produce reports, presentations, studies, and research materials as per your supervisor's instructions.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of products, sales methodologies, customer applications, and competitors' offerings.

Qualifications:

• College degree or equivalent, with preference for degrees in Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or Business.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional computer skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
