Regional Brand Manager
SALEEN AUTOMOTIVE is a 40-year-old automobile manufacturer that has produced some of America’s finest performance vehicles including the current SALEEN MUSTANG S302, SALEEN F-150 SPORTRUCK, and SALEEN F-150 4X4 XR. Vehicles scheduled to be released in the near future include the Saleen Bronco and the Saleen S1 Supercar. In addition to the current line of vehicles Saleen Automotive has produced more than 30k vehicles including the SALEEN S-7, and the 2004-2006 Ford GT.
This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Corona, CA with frequent travel required. Reporting to the VP of Sales this role requires overseeing the driving elements of the Saleen brand by the Saleen Dealers in the western states of California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, and Arizona. The Brand Manager will be responsible to develop and implement the Saleen sales and marketing programs in the Saleen Dealer’s assigned territory to deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities include day-to-day dealer contact to reinforce and ensure the Saleen brand message is being delivered by the dealer and monitor the retail sell through results. Regular, schedule visits to the Saleen dealers in the western territory will be required to:
· interface with the dealership management to formulate sales goals and marketing strategies.
· provide product and sales training to staff,
· oversee marketing and merchandising by the dealer to insure consistency with the Saleen brand message.
· review Saleen policies and procedures with the various dealership departments
· develop sales forecasts and marketing events for assigned dealers.
· build a strong mutual B2B relationship with dealership management and staff.
Qualifications of the successful candidate would include, but not limited to:
· Minimum of (5) years automotive retail dealership or OE field representative experience
· College degree (BA or Associate) desirable, but not required.
· Strong oral and written communication skill
· Aggressive self-starter with knowledge of the territory
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Word, Power Point, Excel
· Ability to provide strong and meaningful presentations to dealers and customer groups.
· Work well independently or with meaningful contribution to a team
