SUMMER ADVENTURE CAMP STAFF POSITION

**We are currently only hiring PM shift staff (11:45am - 5:45pm) in Eagle River **

Spend your summer in a fun, rewarding way by working with elementary school aged youth in our Camp Fire Alaska Summer Adventure Camp!  This day program has the option of morning and evening shifts, Monday – Friday in four school locations throughout Anchorage and Eagle River. 

As a Camp Staff you’ll gain valuable professional experience managing small groups of youth, supporting and promoting quality youth development programming, relationship building (with campers, staff, parents, etc.), and providing a stable fun and caring learning environment that will foster in the campers’ ability to achieve our company’s promise; that every child will have the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are!  Be part of the team that actively assists the youth that will shape the world! Program Staff $17.07/hour:

Directly supervise youth at Summer Adventure Camp and deliver quality youth development that complies with licensing and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Age Requirement: 16 years old to meet licensing regulations
• Ability to transport self to work and to the Camp Fire office for trainings.
• Demonstrate working successfully with children, in a group setting strongly preferred; training or experience in youth development, education, or recreation, preferred.
